It's not easy running for one of the biggest races in the state, and you won fair and square. I look forward to helping you succeed on behalf of all Salt Lake County in whatever way I can.
To my supporters: I…
My Response to Salt Lake County Democrats cheering on the Biden Administration's recent changes to Title IX.
The Salt Lake County Democrat Party posed a question on Twitter to me and my opponent asking our thoughts on Utah lawmakers passing a resolution not recognizing the recent changes made by activist bureaucrats in the Biden Administration to Title IX protections to include those suffering from gender dysphoria. (Click on the headline above for more information.)
So the Salt Lake County Democrat Party did what they always do - claim victimhood while avoiding fruitful debate at all cost. And when they received an answer they didn't like, they played hall monitor and went straight to the press with a release thinking I'd succumb to their ambush.
Not so.
We're long overdue for a serious debate on this issue. We've been ready for years. But if the Democrats' justification for this absurd policy hinges on positions from captured institutions like the WHO, whose trust is at its lowest point ever since it became a household name in the last 4 years, then they are not serious.
Gender Dysphoria is a real mental health condition, but until a person has been clinically diagnosed with this disorder by a specialist in this field, they don't get to self-diagnose and expect the world to bend over backwards to accommodate whatever psychological distress they may be experiencing.

The West HS Career Combine was a resounding success!
This grass roots job fair organized by the West High football team brought local employers together with soon-to-be high school grads and next year's senior class to explore the many well-paying career opportunities that exist in Salt Lake County that allow concurrent enrollment in apprenticeship and certification programs and do not require a 4-year college degree.
These young people deserve every opportunity to afford living where they grew up, and these careers can enable them to do it with going into massive debt and spending another four years in a classroom.
